Saturday Children’s Clinic

Saturday Children’s Clinic is a free monthly dental clinic for underserved children in our community.  It was created by UNLV dental students in 2008 (including our ADEA chapter founder), and is still completely student-run.  All dental work is done by volunteer UNLV dental students under supervising dental faculty.  We also have a few dedicated volunteer UNLV staff members that help with the details.  Our patient population for this clinic are participants in the Give Kids A Smile program.

Saturday Children’s Clinics are held during the following months: January, February, March, May, June, July, September, October, November.

Because this is a volunteer run organization, any help is appreciated!  Many aspiring dental students like to attend these clinics to see how a clinic at UNLV SDM runs.  We are also always looking for community dentists that are willing to oversee the students.  Everyone is welcome!

Please email Chun Wong at chun.wong@sdm.unlv.edu for more information on how to volunteer at the Saturday Children’s Clinics.

The UNLV SDM ADEA chapter does not run this clinic, but we love it!
